Description
You're frozen, when your heart's not open.....
Major arteries do not count unfortunately
Man, this is weird....
Recent obsession with temperature
+ Madonna's song "Frozen"
+ The fact that carousel horses all look like they were painfully impaled alive
= This really "interesting" painting...
Video!!! I finally made another video! Go watch it! [link]
11x15 inches, 140lb watercolor paper
2 hours
Acrylic, watercolors, watercolor pencils, white gel pen, salt...
If you want to know my logic for using both acrylic and watercolor, keep reading...
All the warm parts are acrylic(the heart and arteries and most of the rod). The ice blue is watercolors. Acrylics are permanent while watercolors are not so you're playing a risky game if you try to layer watercolors. In other words, if I had done this all in watercolors, all the warm parts would blend away when I put the ice blue wash over it and then it would look like a purple mess(I know this, because I did this the first time -___-). It doesn't matter how long you wait, you can still lift out watercolors. Since acrylics are permanent, I didn't have to deal with that problem. So there ya go.
